We’re looking for dynamic individuals who share our vision of bringing new hope and opportunities to those in despair and neglect. The New Charis Mission (hereafter known as “TNCM”) is a non-profit charitable organisation registered with Registry of Societies in 2006 and Commissioner of Charities in 2007. TNCM is an approved Institution of a Public Character (IPC) and a full member of National Council of Social Services.

Beyond what a halfway house for ex-drug addicts and ex-offenders, TNCM operates a Residential Rehabilitation Programme which helps every individual who entered into the programme to move from the past failures and destructive lives, developed new mindset and value system. They become Mentors running programmes in Schools for the at-risk students, Counsellors to the inmates in the Prison and Befrienders to the lonely elderly. Once, they were the trouble and burden in their families, now they are able to provide support to their families.

New Charis Enterprise Pte Ltd (hereafter known as “NCE”) is a social enterprise created with the sole purpose of creating jobs and a platform where these recovered ex-drug addicts and ex-offenders can slowly ease back into the society. Many of the ex-drug addicts and ex-offenders have been discriminated and casted out of our contemporary society. Despite having a changed heart, their offenses have greatly jeopardized their reputation to the point that they find it hard to get employed. This has left Mr. Don Wong (Founder and Executive Director of The New Charis Mission and Advisor to the New Charis Enterprise Pte Ltd) and his team compelled to start this social enterprise.
